By integrating domestic and foreign advantageous resources, and innovating the industry-university-research cooperation model, we aim to build a knowledge-based technology platform for the petrochemical industry and to promote the development, implementation, and widespread application of new technologies.

Focusing on the strategic demand of high-end, refined and high value-added development of large-scale refining and chemical plants, we have been committed to the technological development and high value-added utilization of complete sets of processes for the production of scarce monomers and polymers. We have developed a number of proprietary process packages with complete intellectual property rights for ABS, PMMA, POE, alpha--olefin, etc., and have been committed to renewable recycling of the products we have developed.

To realize the industrialization of high-end petrochemical technology and high-quality sustainable development, we have integrated domestic and international advantageous resources, and innovated the mode of cooperation between the industry, academia and research institutes.

 

We have been cooperating with many universities for technology development and cooperating with various scientific research institutes in China to realize engineering applications.

ABS

Emulsion ABS process: the ABS resin products produced by emulsion grafting+mass SAN blending ABS process feature high impact strength and high gloss. The process technology features high manufacturing flexibility, and the single-line manufacturing capacity can reach 200,000-300,000 tons per year. It produces a wide variety of products with high product quality and a wide range of market applications, covering various fields such as extrusion, flame retardance, heat resistance, electric pacing, injection molding. Molten SAN extrusion process can significantly reduce production energy consumption and enhance product competitiveness.

 

Mass ABS process: the process is featured by short technical flow, low discharge of three wastes (waste water, waste gas and solid waste), low energy and material consumption. The maximum manufacturing capacity of a single line is 80,000 tons per year, and the product grades include matte-grade PC special, high-gloss grade, anti-static grade and heat-resistant grade, etc. The application of the technology is highly prospective with the improvement of the manufacturing process and the further broadening of the product range, especially with the requirements of green production and cleaner production.

 

Low Cis Rubber (LCBR) process: the process technology adopts continuous solution polymerization production process. Compared with the traditional process technology, its products feature high solid content, high conversion rate, high yield and low energy consumption, which can be used to support the production of rubber for propriety ABS and enhance the competitiveness of propriety ABS market.

PMMA

A complete set of technology for the preparation of optical grade PMMA by mass polymerization process jointly developed with Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute features high polymerization conversion rate, high-temperature polymerization, low energy consumption, easy control of reaction process, with a single set of annual production capacity of 40,000-60,000 tons, and its products feature good transparency, optical properties, weathering resistance and drug resistance. Its products can be applied in high-end fields such as LCD light guide panels, solar photovoltaic cells, lighting equipment, optical glass. The 1000t/a PMMA pilot plant built in Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute provides users with new grades of products on a continuous basis.

POE

Solution polymerization of metallocene ethylene-a olefin copolymer elastomer process: the products of this process feature both plastic and rubber, with excellent mechanical properties such as high elasticity, high strength, high elongation rate, and are widely applied to automobile parts, wires and cables, furniture articles, entertainment and sports goods, shoes soles and photovoltaic industries.
