On March 27, 2026, Shanghai Zonepic Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Zonepic) and Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZPC) - together with relevant departments including its Engineering Business Division, Planning and Design Department, Operations Department, and the Rongsheng Procurement Department - jointly convened a design progress meeting for Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZPC)'s high-end new-materials projects. Led by Shanghai Zonepic and ZPC's Engineering Business Division, the meeting focused on four high-end new-materials projects - POE, HCN, ADN, and PA66 - and conducted in-depth discussions on various constraints at the design stage, refined key milestones and worked to accelerate project implementation.

Core Teams of Both Sides Convene to Build Solid Organizational Safeguards for Collaborative Advancement

To ensure the meeting was efficient, pragmatic, and precise in problem-solving, Mr. Cai Bobo, General Manager of Shanghai Zonepic, Mr. Cai Wujing, Deputy General Manager, along with the company's Design Management Department, project managers, and technical leads, attended and took the lead throughout in aligning design concepts, discussing technical solutions, and coordinating schedules - ensuring the project design met overall planning and implementation needs.

Mr. Zhang Xiaoliang, Deputy General Manager of Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZPC)'s Engineering Business Division, attended and led the overall coordination. Relevant leaders and core technical personnel from ZPC's Engineering Business Division (Construction Department, First and Third Project Departments), Planning and Design Department, and Operations Department, as well as Mr. Yang Baohua, Senior Manager of the Rongsheng Procurement Department, also attended. They conducted dedicated alignment on issues such as safeguarding the project procurement schedule and the coordinated allocation of engineering resources, and bridged the interfaces among supply chain, design, and on-site construction for the project's on-schedule progress. With clear division of labor, well-defined responsibilities, and efficient coordination, the two teams laid a solid organizational foundation for accelerating the design of the four high-end new-materials projects.

Focusing on Core Project Bottlenecks and Difficulties to Deeply Resolve Design Constraints

Throughout the meeting, the principles of "problem orientation, goal orientation, and results orientation" were followed. For the constraints of the four high-end new-materials projects - design difficulties, technical sticking points, and resource bottlenecks - comprehensive and in-depth discussions were held, root causes were identified one by one, and targeted solutions were formulated.

The two sides conducted in-depth communication on core issues such as process-design optimization, core-equipment selection and matching, the interface among engineering, procurement, design, and construction schedules, coordinated resource allocation, and the rationality of unit layout. Targeting current constraints in design cycles, technical alignment, and cross-disciplinary coordination, they compiled clear problem and responsibility lists, analyzed and judged each item, clarified optimization directions, broke down communication barriers between departments and between enterprises, unblocked the key links of collaborative project advancement, and ensured the project design met actual construction progress and production-operation needs.

Tightening Design Milestones and Clarifying the Path for Follow-Up Collaborative Advancement

On the basis of thorough discussion of constraints and consensus reached, the two sides conducted an overall deployment of the follow-up design work for the four projects, clarifying key milestones, deadlines, and responsible parties at each stage, and establishing an efficient collaborative advancement mechanism.

The meeting required that both teams strengthen accountability, keep a close watch on key design milestones, refine work tasks, and build a closed-loop management system; enhance regular communication and alignment, establish dedicated coordination mechanisms, promptly resolve new problems and situations arising during design, and prevent project progress from being affected by poor communication or inadequate handover.

Deepening Industrial Collaboration to Support Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZPC)'s High-End New-Materials Industry Upgrade

The successful convening of this design progress meeting effectively resolved the core constraint problems of the high-end new-materials projects cooperated between Zhejiang Petroleum & Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZPC) and Shanghai Zonepic, further solidified project-advancement responsibilities, clarified the direction of follow-up work, and marked the entry of the four key projects into a refined, fast-paced advancement stage.

Shanghai Zonepic has always been owner-needs-oriented, eager to address owners' urgent concerns and mindful of their thinking, focusing on core project concerns, strengthening response efficiency and collaboration depth, and fully ensuring that design work advances in sync with the owner's overall objectives. Next, the two sides will strictly implement the plans and requirements determined at this meeting, efficiently advance all design work, strengthen coordination and cooperation, and rigorously pursue implementation - making every effort to enable the projects to complete design, commence construction, and start up smoothly at an early date.
