On September 9, 2026, a delegation from Zhejiang Ruizhi Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ruizhi Group") — Mr. Xue Kuanliang, actual controller; Mr. Xue Kuanrong, Chairman; Mr. He Kang, President; and Mr. Lu Ronggui, Vice President — visited the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology to discuss and explore in-depth industry–university–research collaboration.

At the symposium, Professors Xu Lixin, Zhong Mingqiang, Fan Ping, and Yang Jintao introduced the college's disciplinary layout, research platform development, the R&D capabilities of its key laboratories, its talent pool, and its achievements in research commercialization. They highlighted the research directions, laboratory facilities, and technical capabilities of the State Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Synthesis and Transformation Technology, the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Separation Membrane Materials, and the Key Laboratory of Advanced Polymer Materials Modification and Application Technology of Zhejiang Province.

The meeting centered on the core agenda of bilateral cooperation and development. The Group presented its core business and medium-to-long-term strategic roadmap, and explicitly stated that it would intensify materials application research and leverage its industrial base to advance the commercialization of new-material technologies. The two sides held in-depth discussions on polymer new materials, material modification, and downstream application development, reaching a high degree of consensus on cooperation goals and R&D directions. They agreed to define cooperation areas and implementation pathways to ensure the industry–university–research projects deliver tangible results.
